Welcome to Websites by the menu. We offer affordable websites for small businesses integrated with our own Content Management System (CMS) subscription service. CMS is a common acronym for a website that you, the owner of the website, can update and change yourself! In other words, YOU manage your content. THIS WEBSITE is created using our CMS and we update it using the same tools that are available to you. It is not Wordpress, Drupal, or other tools that take hours to learn; Ours is simple and easy to learn the basics in just one hour. If you can use Microsoft Word, you can use our content management tool.
What do you get for $499 plus hosting costs? Here it is:
A banner is the heading, or design of your website. It is also the five sections, or buttons, that when clicked will take your visitors to each of the five pages in your website. The banner will go across the top of the webpage and will be custom made just for your business. We will use your logo, your colors, your style, and your input to create this banner. Our Graphics Artist will provide you with two sample designs so you can choose one, mix the two, make adjustments, and you make the final decision on the look and feel of the site. You will deal directly with our staff and have direct access to your account representative and/or directly wlth the owner during your design process. Need more than five pages? No problem! Just let us know during this design process.
Each of your pages will be setup and created by our professional website developers. You will supply us with the text that you want in each page, images, photographs, Youtube.com videos, and we will set them up, format them, and get your agreement that they look like you want them too. We will then spend an hour training you on how to edit the webpages yourself. If your hours, pricing, schedule, services, or whatever in your business environment changes, you can login and change the information yourself! There is no need to contact your web developer to make any changes to your content. Need help with your changes? No problem, just give us a call and we will help you make the changes and provide refresher training at no additional charge.
One Domain name registration and/or transfer and one year of website hosting is included in your implementation. Your annual hosting plan will begin the first day of the month after your website is accepted as finished and paid for. For instance, if we finish your website on June 10, 2013, your hosting plan will begin On July 1, 2013 and will be paid in full until December 1, 2014. Annual subscription and hosting services will be invoiced at our competitive rate for a CMS system of $14.95 per month. We will invoice you 60 days ahead of time, giving you plenty of time to renew your site each year.
Each of your pages will include the coding for Google for analytics reporting. Google Analytics is a free service provided by Google and all you need to view your website statistics is a Gmail address or account. Don’t have or want a Gmail address? No problem, we can set the standard reports to be emailed to you monthly or weekly.
Our CMS system includes the ability for you to login and change your search engine wording yourself. Watching your Google Analytics reports and adjusting your search terms to make the best of your web presence is easy to do and you can do this yourself using our SEO interface! We will provide basic SEO guidance for you during your training session.
One hour of training on your site is included. We will provide training in our facility, or in an online meeting using Gotomeeting.com. We will cover the basics of changing your text, adding or replacing an image, uploading a link to a youtube video, and if you have one, using your photo gallery.
